Testimonies

Below are some e-mails from people who have attended PBRO services or special events. We praise God for testimonies like these!!

Dear Sir

I have felt the need to write all day now so here goes. I work at the Tacoma Dome in the concession stands. I believe it was in 2006 when I was working the espresso stand one of the ministers ( I guess) came by for a espresso I waited on him after we talked for a minute he said I must be a Christian. I said no I had left God because I felt he had left me. The last thing I remember him saying to me was not to wait to long before coming back. The last two weeks the Lord has been pounding on the door of my heart, and I have asked him back into my life. For me this has been a fast decision but I felt the Lord very strongly and remembered that man telling me not to wait to long.

Thank You

Dear PBRO,
My wife and I just attended the world finals in Vegas and had a really good time. We also attended the worship service Sunday morning. What a blessing it was to hear the message about Lee Akin’s struggle for life. I truly feel that without Gods work and their faith in him he would not be where he is today. It was great to hear Kody Lostroh share some of his thoughts on how God has worked in his life. What an awesome God we have. One other thing I want to add, while we were seated at the service people just kept pouring into the room, and there were not enough chairs to go around for everyone. I looked coming down the side isle of the room and there was Mike Lee packing and setting up chairs. How many other professional athletes do you think would do that? Goes to show what kinda people are in this sport and how they like to serve God. Thanks for everything and for being a part of our trip. God Bless
Cade & Samantha

Dear PBRO,
We thought the service was awesome, and that Lee Akin's wife, Mary, did an outstanding job telling the story of what they have gone through in their marriage. I am sure it spoke to many. We were there at the PBR to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and we have gone through some fiery trials to be sure, but none like what they have gone through. I appreciated that she said that it had brought them closer. So many people, especially in today's society, cut and run when this type of thing happens. It's a "this isn't what I signed up for" kind of thing. I'm coming up on my 49 birthday, and we have seen marriages even at our age fall apart because of this type of thing. I also appreciated what Mary had to say about communication, and how this has brought she and Lee closer, because of the communication problems Lee has, and it forces them to have to listen to one another. Incredible. I have thought a lot about it since she spoke. I have also thought a lot about how incredible God made the human body. Wow. I would like to thank everyone involved in that service for making it a very special part of our 25th wedding anniversary. Thank you SO much!

Sorry to go on so long. I have to say, this trip to the finals was THE best
vacation we have ever had. I will treasure it forever!

Dear PBRO,
Justin McBride famously said that he was a rich cowboy, and I know that many of you have become rich through the PBR, but that is nothing to the way you all have enriched America with the example you set for the rest of us as fine, God fearing young men. You are making more of a difference than you may realize yourselves. God bless you
.

Hello,
My husband and I attended the three events in Reno plus Cowboy Church on Sunday. Obviously we are huge PBR fans but the Cowboy church was the highlight. I'm sorry to say it has been awhile since we've attended church or been in the word of God but the message touched us deeply. The singing brought tears to my eyes and the obvious commitment of the PBR to offer and add to the deep conviction of many participants is commendable. Keep up the good work! Just wanted to let you know you've made a difference in our lives and rekindled our walk with the Lord.
